Had I known this process was painless and smooth, I would have taken care of business many years ago. Prior to connecting with Matt Fakhoury, I tried to work at a hospital, but to my surprise I was informed by human resources that I am unable to move forward in the hiring process. Simply because of an arrest that occurred nearly 12 years. The details do not matter, but know this – I was certainly in great hands with Matt. Not only is Matt is respectful, he’s easy to talk to without complicated legal jargon and most importantly nonjudgmental. Matt communicated when necessary (no news, is good news), and every interaction was informative. Im not gaining anything from leaving this excellent review (financial kickback etc.), other than gratitude. I encourage everyone to check their background history and clear it if applicable for the following reasons (1) ensure nothing isn’t there that doesn’t belong (2) to have a piece of mind (3) eliminate road blocks with potential employer’s. Also, be aware that some if not most healthcare organizations that conducts fingerprinting as part of their interview process still can access sealed and expunged records. With that said, conduct your own research regarding state laws in addition to reaching out to credible sources such as attorneys and court systems. I suggest Mr. Fakhoury of course. Thank you Matt Fakhoury and good luck to you all.
