From the beginning of my legal career, I have been drawn to advocacy and the opportunity to help people navigate some of the most difficult moments in their lives. While attending UIC John Marshall Law School, I focused on developing my courtroom and appellate advocacy skills through moot court competitions, serving as an Associate Justice on the Moot Court Honors Board, and working as a teaching assistant for appellate advocacy courses. At the same time, I gained valuable hands-on experience as a law clerk with the Homicide Division of the Cook County Public Defender’s Office and as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Vincent M. Gaughan in the Criminal Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County.

These experiences gave me a well-rounded understanding of the criminal justice system and reinforced my passion for helping individuals overcome the obstacles that come with a criminal record.
